Type specimen: IVPP V14713, a mandible (left dentary preserving m2-m3). Its type locality is Subeng Unit 3 (Mammal Site), which is in a Gashatan fluvial-lacustrine conglomerate in the Nomogen Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Subeng Unit 3 (Mammal Site)
