Type specimen: Its type locality is Brock Mountain, 3 miles east of Madison's ranch (Trachyceras subzone), which is in a Tuvalian carbonate limestone in the Hosselkus Formation of California
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Brock Mountain, 3 miles east of Madison's ranch (Trachyceras subzone)
