Type specimen: MDLP 81-VI-26-1, a set of postcrania (tarsometatarsus). Its type locality is South of Lake Colhue-Huapi (Colhuehuapian), which is in a Colhuehuapian marine horizon in the Patagonia Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of Argentina (3 collections)
