Type specimen: BRSUG 27200, a skull. Its type locality is Pennington Point, 20 m east River Sid outfall, Fodonyx skull, which is in an Anisian fluvial sandstone in the Otter Sandstone Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Pennington Point, 20 m east River Sid outfall, Fodonyx skull
