Sister taxon: Peiraphyllum anguiporum
Type specimen: SI-620. Its type locality is Wenhuashan, Upper Chuanshan Fm, Wuxian County, which is in a Sakmarian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Chuanshan Formation of China.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Wenhuashan, Upper Chuanshan Fm, Wuxian County
