Type specimen: SMNK PAL 6597, a partial skull (Fused left and right premaxilla and maxilla). Its type locality is Santana do Cariri (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: fast-moving volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Santana do Cariri (general)
