Type specimen: AMNH 28358, a shell. Its type locality is AMNH1067, Little Colorado River canyon, which is in a Roadian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Kaibab Formation of Arizona.

Ecology: slow-moving epifaunal detritivore

Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 16.1
