Type specimen: GSC 40336, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is District of Mackenzie Bathyurus granulosus zone, which is in a Chazyan carbonate limestone in the Sunblood Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution:

• Ordovician of Canada (1: Northwest Territories collection)

• Whiterockian of Canada (6: Northwest Territories)

Total: 7 collections each including a single occurrence
