Type specimen: ROM 47733, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is District of Mackenzie, Sunblood Range (BVF), which is in a Whiterockian shallow subtidal limestone in the Sunblood Formation of Canada.

• Whiterockian of Canada (5: Northwest Territories collections), United States (1: Nevada)
