Sister taxon: Peraiocynodon inexpectatus
Type specimen: BMNH J.693, a tooth (left lower molariform tooth). Its type locality is Kirtlington 3p (Mammal Bed), which is in a Bathonian mire/swamp marl in the Forest Marble Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Kirtlington 3p (Mammal Bed)
