Belongs to Anotoceras according to Y. G. Wang and G. L. Chen 1979
Sister taxa: Anotoceras intermedium, Anotoceras kama, Anotoceras nala, Anotoceras subtabulatus
Type specimen: NIGP 33932. Its type locality is Maduo Yu I-122-F-1, Maduo County, which is in a Griesbachian/Smithian marine horizon in the Bayankalashan Formation of China.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Maduo Yu I-122-F-1, Maduo County
