Belongs to Svalbardiceras according to Y. G. Wang and G. L. Chen 1979
Sister taxa: Svalbardiceras chowadei, Svalbardiceras freboldi, Svalbardiceras pealei, Svalbardiceras spitzbergensis, Svalbardiceras sulcatum
Type specimen: NIGP 33948. Its type locality is Baluogenguole XX-F313-3, Wulan County, which is in a Spathian marine horizon in the Longwuhequn Formation of China.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Baluogenguole XX-F313-3, Wulan County
