Type specimen: GSC 18833. Its type locality is GSC 47544, Spath Creek (SCN), Ellesmere Island, which is in a Spathian marine siliciclastic in the Blind Fiord Formation of Canada.

Distribution: found only at GSC 47544, Spath Creek (SCN), Ellesmere Island
