Sister taxa: Martynovocossus ancylivenius, Martynovocossus bellus, Martynovocossus decorus, Martynovocossus punctulosus, Martynovocossus strenus, Martynovocossus turgaiensis, Martynovocossus zemcuznicovi

Type specimen: NIGP 147896, an exoskeleton (Complete body lacking abdomen). Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (NIGP collection)
