Type specimen: NHM I.3533, a tegmen (male tegmen). Its type locality is Dinton, Vale of Wardour, Middle Purbeck, which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal horizon in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.

Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Dinton, Vale of Wardour, Middle Purbeck
