Sister taxon: Cyphoneurodes reducta
Type specimen: R9-05-27-03-4a,b, a forewing. Its type locality is Midco Locality 16 (ESU Collection), which is in an Artinskian lacustrine limestone in the Wellington Formation of Oklahoma.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Midco Locality 16 (ESU Collection)
