Type specimen: IGM 100/3004, a set of limb elements. Its type locality is Khugenetjavkhlant, which is in a Santonian/Campanian alluvial fan sandstone in the Javkhlant Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Khugenetjavkhlant
