Type specimen: PVL 3858, a mandible. Its type locality is north slope of Cerro Bayo de Portrerillos, which is in an Anisian terrestrial siltstone in the Cerro de Las Cabras Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at north slope of Cerro Bayo de Portrerillos
