Sister taxon: Aleodon cromptoni
Type specimen: UMZC field number 113C, a partial skull. Its type locality is B29, between Gingama and Tschikonge, which is in an Anisian terrestrial horizon in the Manda Beds Formation of Tanzania.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at B29, between Gingama and Tschikonge
