Type specimen: BMNH I.12782/12778, a hindwing (male(?) hindwing basal fragment). Its type locality is Dinton, Vale of Wardour, Middle Purbeck, which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal horizon in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Dinton, Vale of Wardour, Middle Purbeck
