Type specimen: She 1001, a hindwing. Its type locality is Sample Hh-XXXV-5/2, Huoshizhai, Xiji County, which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Madongshan Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Sample Hh-XXXV-5/2, Huoshizhai, Xiji County
