Type specimen: SMNS 65217, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Nusplingen quarry, unit C (SMNS collection), which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Nusplingen Limestone Formation of Germany.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Nusplingen quarry, unit C (SMNS collection)
