Type specimen: UF/IGM 29, a skull. Its type locality is La Puente Pit, which is in a Paleocene/Paleocene delta plain claystone/sandstone in the Cerrejón Formation of Colombia.
Ecology: carnivore
Distribution: found only at La Puente Pit
