Type specimen: Aes. U.K. ARP.1, a wing (Left wings attached to thorax). Its type locality is North Abu Ras Plateau to Saad Plateau, which is in an Aptian paralic mudstone in the Abu Ballas Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at North Abu Ras Plateau to Saad Plateau
