Type specimen: SMNS 64274, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Blumenberg quarry, Eichstätt, which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Altmühltal Formation of Germany.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Blumenberg quarry, Eichstätt, Solnhofen (SMNS collection)
