Type specimen: GSC 62291, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is GSC locality 92241, Survey Peak Fm., Biozone D, Alberta Canada - Dean 1989, which is in a Tremadoc transition zone/lower shoreface siltstone in the Survey Peak Formation of Canada.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
