Type specimen: GSC 62393, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is GSC locality 92298, Outram Fm., Biozone J, Alberta, Canada - Dean 1989, which is in a Tremadoc slope limestone in the Outram Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
