Sister taxon: Tulepyge paucituberculata
Type specimen: SUI 100169, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is B 1.1, House Range, which is in a Skullrockian shallow subtidal horizon in the House Formation of Utah.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at B 1.1, House Range
