Type specimen: MN 6117-V, a partial skull (Fused premaxillae). Its type locality is Laje do Coringa, Ilha do Cajual, which is in a Cenomanian estuary/bay sandstone/conglomerate in the Alcântara Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Laje do Coringa, Ilha do Cajual
