Sister taxa: Nambaroo couperi, Nambaroo gillispieae, Nambaroo novus, Nambaroo saltavus, Nambaroo tarrinyeri

Type specimen: NTM P991-24, a mandible (right dentary with m1-m4). Its type locality is Blast Site, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in the Camfield Beds Formation of Australia.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore
