Belongs to Ganawamaya according to L. R. S. Schwartz and D. Megirian 2004
Sister taxa: Ganawamaya acris, Ganawamaya aediculis, Ganawamaya aediculus
Type specimen: QM F16842, a mandible (an anterior fragment of a left dentary containing I1 and alveoli for P2 - M3). Its type locality is Wayne's Wok Site, which is in an Aquitanian/Burdigalian terrestrial limestone in Australia.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore
Distribution: found only at Wayne's Wok Site
