Type specimen: CPEZ-239a, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Sanga da Arvore, Baum-Sanga, Xiniquá, which is in a Ladinian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Maria Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Sanga da Arvore, Baum-Sanga, Xiniquá
