Type specimen: GSQI82, a wing. Its type locality is Denmark Hill Insect Bed (Dunstan 1915-1916 collection), which is in a Norian pond siltstone in the Blackstone Formation of Australia.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Denmark Hill Insect Bed (Dunstan 1915-1916 collection)
