Type specimen: USNM 496271, a partial skull (pharyngeal plate with teeth). Its type locality is Fisher/Sullivan Site, which is in a Wasatchian marine horizon in the Nanjemoy Formation of Virginia.

• Eocene of United States (3: Alabama, Virginia collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
