Sister taxa: Siciliella elongata, Siciliella infernespinosa, Siciliella prima, Siciliella quadrata

Type specimen: MHNG201509, a carapace. Its type locality is PR19, Portella Rossa 1 section, Croce di Burgio, which is in a Kungurian deep-water shale in the Lercara Formation of Italy.

Ecology: epifaunal detritivore-grazer
