Sister taxon: Jiphara wangi
Type specimen: BL92013/4, a forewing. Its type locality is Chongqing Reservoir, west hills, Beijing, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Lushangfen Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Chongqing Reservoir, west hills, Beijing
