Sister taxon: Antodicranomyia rubra
Type specimen: ARC 186.2, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Charentese amber, Archingeay-Les-Nouillers, subunit A1sl-A, which is in an Albian terrestrial amber in France.

Distribution: found only at Charentese amber, Archingeay-Les-Nouillers, subunit A1sl-A
