Type specimen: New Mexico Bureau of Mines 891. Its type locality is Rhodes Canyon, San Andres Mountains, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in the San Andres Formation of New Mexico.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Rhodes Canyon, San Andres Mountains
