Type specimen: Dalian Natural Museum D2126, a skeleton. Its type locality is Dapingfang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Dapingfang
