Sister taxa: Titanomyrma gigantea, Titanomyrma simillima

Type specimen: DMNH 9041, an exoskeleton (body in dorsal aspect, anterior portions of right forewing, very little of left). Its type locality is DMNS Locality 784, Farson Fish Beds, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine horizon in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at DMNS Locality 784, Farson Fish Beds
