Type specimen: MPM-PV 2097/1–2097/19, a set of postcrania. Its type locality is estancia María Aike, which is in a Cenomanian/Turonian terrestrial sandstone/conglomerate in the Bajo Barreal Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at estancia María Aike
