Type specimen: F:AM 31997, a mandible (right ramus). Its type locality is Round Mountain Quarry, which is in a Clarendonian terrestrial horizon in the referred Chamita Formation of New Mexico.
Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser
Distribution: found only at Round Mountain Quarry
