Type specimens:
- Stacheites floweri: Its type locality is Cain Mountain, southern Tobin Range, which is in a Spathian marine horizon in the Tobin Formation of Nevada
- Pseudokymatites tabulatus: IGPS 111543, a shell. Its type locality is Cape Tatezaki, Utatsu, Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture, which is in a Spathian marine siliciclastic in the Osawa Formation of Japan.
