Type specimen: IV 38521. Its type locality is Changtan River, Maokou Fm, Xuan'en County, which is in a Roadian/Capitanian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Maokou Formation of China.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Changtan River, Maokou Fm, Xuan'en County
