Sister taxon: Nipponaspis miosilus
Type specimen: Its type locality is G2-zawa Valley, T7, Takakura-yama Mountain, Iwaki City, which is in a Capitanian marine shale in the Takakurayama Formation of Japan
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at G2 Valley, Takakura-yama Mountain, Iwaki City
