Type specimen: PAt 16696. Its type locality is Omote-Matsukawa, Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture, which is in a Roadian marine siliciclastic in the Shigejizawa Formation of Japan.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at Omote-Matsukawa quarry, Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture
