Type specimen: USNM 118143. Its type locality is USGS 2964, 10 miles NW of Kent, Delaware Mountains, which is in a Roadian/Capitanian slope limestone in the Delaware Mountain Formation of Texas.

Ecology: stationary epifaunal "photoautotroph"

Distribution: found only at USGS 2964, 10 miles NW of Kent, Delaware Mountains
