Sister taxa: Jibaissodes bellus, Jibaissodes peichenae
Type specimen: BL92015, an exoskeleton (head, thorax, partial left forewing, right fore and hindwing). Its type locality is Chongqing Reservoir, west hills, Beijing, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Lushangfen Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Chongqing Reservoir, west hills, Beijing
