Type specimen: KU 32693, a shell. Its type locality is US Highway 40, 9.4 miles west of Lawrence, 3 miles south of Lecompton, which is in a Virgilian carbonate limestone in the Deer Creek Formation of Kansas.
Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore
Distribution: found only at US Highway 40, 9.4 miles west of Lawrence, 3 miles south of Lecompton
