Type specimen: QM GSQ1a, a wing (Basal half of wing). Its type locality is Denmark Hill Insect Bed (Dunstan 1909 collection), which is in a Norian pond siltstone in the Blackstone Formation of Australia.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Denmark Hill Insect Bed (Dunstan 1909 collection)
